Mission:
Founded in 2013, Time Will Tell Arts Society's mission is to promote artistic expression from culturally diverse traditional, neo-traditional, and original sources, particularly from South Asia and Africa, though not limited to those parts of the world. The society aims to support, produce, and collaborate on performances, workshops, and educational initiatives that amplify underrepresented cultural voices, fostering intercultural understanding and appreciation for musical cultures that - historically - have not been given due representation or understanding in "Western" cultural sphere.
Mandate:
The society is committed to advancing equity, diversity, inclusion, and access in the arts by supporting artists and cultural practitioners from historically underrepresented communities. It seeks to create opportunities for artistic collaboration across cultures, provide platforms for showcasing diverse narratives, and engage audiences through culturally enriching events and programs. By doing so, the society ensures that a broader range of artistic expressions and voices are heard and celebrated.
Vision:
Time Will Tell Arts Society envisions a vibrant, inclusive arts ecosystem where culturally diverse artistic expressions thrive. The society aims to build bridges between communities, fostering intercultural dialogue and understanding through the arts. It strives to be a leader in promoting artistic diversity and fostering appreciation for the cultural richness and complexity of South Asian, African, and other global traditions.
